Handmade cashmere coats are generally more expensive as the cashmere content increases, because the price of cashmere goat fiber itself is high. However, coats with a cashmere content above 50% are warm but not durable.

If the content is 70% wool and 30% cashmere goat fiber, it can be confirmed to be genuine wool and cashmere. A composition reaching 70% wool and 30% cashmere is considered very good. This is because cashmere sweaters with a cashmere content below 30% feel little different from wool sweaters; only when the cashmere content reaches this level do they have a rich and soft feel, a relatively noticeable tactile feel, and better warmth. According to relevant national industry standards, if it is pure cashmere, it must reach 95% or above. In cashmere products, when the cashmere goat fiber content reaches 95% or above, it can be regarded as 100% cashmere and can be labeled as a 100% cashmere item. Those with a cashmere content below 95% can only be called wool-cashmere products. For cashmere blended products, the percentage of cashmere content will be indicated on the label of the cashmere coat.

(2)Cashmere blended products; the percentage of cashmere content will be indicated on the label of the cashmere coat.

According to relevant national industry standards, pure cashmere knitwear should contain 100% cashmere goat fiber. Taking into account morphological variations in cashmere goat fiber and non-artificial mixing with wool, cashmere products with a cashmere goat fiber content of 95% or above may be regarded as 100% cashmere and may be labeled as 100% cashmere items. Those with a cashmere content below 30% can only be called wool-cashmere blended products. Cashmere coat manufacturers
